After a killer mix for broken hearts in February and participation in the latest Salviatek compilation, the producer and DJ SINES is back with a new pack of club edits and bootlegs.
Coming Friday, May 1, BOOTLEGS VOL. 2 will follow the first pack of the producer released last summer.
Based in Houston, where he grew up, Sines’ work over the years was a witness to the evolution of the club Latinx culture present in this border region with Mexico. Influenced as much by trap, rnb or chopped & screwed as by the rhythms of dembow and reggaeton, Sines also brands his productions with the darkness characteristic of the universe of his duo Santa Muerte or his label Majía.
Before the release of Bootlegs Vol. 2 of Sines this Friday, the producer entrusted us with the broadcast of his edit of the banger Tra Tra by Nfasis, listening below.
Sines’ version of the Dominican reggaetonero’s hit lives up to our expectations: dark atmosphere, pitched voice, humming bass and sharp dembow riddim. An anthem of bootleg culture.
SINES – BOOTLEGS VOL. 2 will be available via Majía on Friday, May 1st and you can already pre-order it on Bandcamp.
