Bio
Starting his producer and DJ career in 2012 by joining the then just born Berlin-based Vox Populi Records imprint, Tim is now a core member of labels and collectives POLAAR and Couvre x Chefs with whom he released several EPs, tracks and remixes since 2018.
A drummer and percussionist in the bands TNHCH (Art Rock / Post Punk) and MAÂT (Fourth World / Jazz / Ambient Pop), his solo production work explores the multiple hybridisations of the international club scene with those of a sound heritage rooted in the UK Hardcore Continuum (UK Funky / Jungle / Deviant Dancehall / Dubstep… ).
Tim Karbon also imagined the militant and charitable collective QSS (Quarantine Sonic Squad) in 2020.
