Couvre x Chefs & Hélico present Turbo Sonidero’s first (double!) Parisian performance as part of his European tour.
Born and raised in Puebla – one of the birthplaces of cumbia in Mexico – and now based in San José (California), Turbo Sonidero blends folk traditions with contemporary club culture. Inspired by Mexican sonidero culture, cumbia rebajada and lowrider aesthetics, he brings the raw energy of Latin American sound systems to the stage.

Before the live performance, there will be a vinyl DJ set by Turbo Sonidero, an exclusive pop-up shop selling his own records, and a meet-and-greet with the artist at Major Tom – Ground Control, 81 Rue du Charolais, 75012 Paris, 6 pm–10 pm. Free entry.
