Producer other islands delivers a new diptych of unstoppable club experiments between Brazilian Funk rhythmic and obscure ambient
other islands is a British producer based in Mexico. Also known under the alias error lake, and a member of the London parties/label near dark, he has been producing for some time an impeccable series of 2-trackers club which we highly recommend and revealed a track here.
After the recent all else said / back yard released before the summer, other islands will publish the diptych inroad / no need at the end of the week, of which we are revealing the first title. An unstoppable club construction already noticed by BBC Radio 6 or DJ Mag, the track “inroad” fuses a powerful slowed-down Brazilian funk rhythm and ethereal ambient elements such as keyboard layers and an enigmatic vocal loop. The ultimate boss imaabs has been in charge of the mastering of the release.
Also a DJ, the English producer takes advantage of his residency on the Threads web radio to complete the presentation of his universe with surgical experimental mixes connecting club music scenes from the four corners of the planet. Very recommended as well.
