With Spectral Decay Vol.2 Arboretum Records pushes back the boundaries of experimental club music
Berlin-based label Arboretum returns with its first project since 2023: the Spectral Decay Vol.2 compilation. The release stands out as a true aural experience, effortlessly pushing back the boundaries established by the previous volume released in 2018. The compilation transcends genres with a bold fusion of futuristic soundscapes, cutting-edge electronics and haunting bass beats, creating a deeply immersive sonic atmosphere. It defies the conventions of traditional musical narratives, exploring new sonic territories where innovation reigns supreme.
The project presents a rich and complex sonic panorama of contemporary club music, skilfully sculpted by artists such as Death Qualia, Ice_Eyes, Nemrac, Kronom, Rommek, VSK, Diasiva, Duellist, Liza Aikin, Slave to Society, and Atsushi Izumi. Carefully selected, the tracks blur the boundaries between experimental, avant-garde, and electronic music designed for the dancefloor, like Ice_Eyes‘ “Click Data”, which you can listen to now in our columns.
Pre-order Spectral Decay Vol. 2 on Bandcamp, out on 6 March via Arboretum Records.
