Between dark atmospheres, incisive rhythms and powerful bass, Venezuelan producer OCTUBRXLIBRV announces a solid debut album on the Matraca label
CRUCES is the first official album from Venezuelan-Colombian-based producer – OCTUBRXLIBRV. After releases on TraTraTrax or DNTFCK, prestigious collaborations with Merca Bae and Florentino – among others – the best-kept secret of Medellín’s experimental club scene will make its debut on the Peruvian label Matraca.
Composed of 7 dark tracks tinged with stripped-down and recontextualized Latin rhythms, CRUCES is an ode to club, bass and the underground. The result of several years of hard work off the radar, this project embodies OCTUBRXLIBRV’s dystopian, sincere and spiritual approach to music. Between dark atmospheres, incisive rhythms and powerful bass, the producer relocated to Colombia defines his proposition of “Post Techno Perreo Sci Fi”.
