Alex Autajon sortira son tant attendu premier EP « Alma » sur le label Moveltraxx
Producteur et DJ lyonnais, Alex Autajon est un nom déjà bien établi dans la sphère club music française et européenne. Après plusieurs remixes et apparitions sur les compilations du label Moveltraxx, Alex livrera enfin son premier EP. Intitulé Alma, celui-ci sera disponible le 9 avril sur le label cité ci-avant et comprendra des featurings avec Leomid et DJ Earl (Teklife).
Inspired by artists such as Cashmere Cat, Big Dope P or Feadz, the club music of the Lyon-based producer draws its essence from Baltimore or booty music by importing key elements that define his signature. The well-named booty-claps, gunshots and other syncopated beats situate Alex Autajon, according to the excellent London website Dummy, somewhere between DJ Rashad and Bok Bok. That’s about it.
Before the release of Alma, the label entrusted us with the diffusion of the track « Pepito », which you can listen to at the top of the article. An essential club banger if ever there was one, « Pepito » is a real slap. With its airs of hyper modern Baltimore Club, its grandiloquent synths a la Sinjin Hawke or Marble’s golden age (which also make us think of the very good Sunareht whose album has just been released), the three minutes of the resolutely booty track are as intense as one could wish.
Avant la sortie d’Alma, le label nous a confié la diffusion du morceau « Pepito », en écoute en haut d’article. Club banger essentiel s’il en est, « Pepito » est une véritable claque. Avec ses airs de Baltimore Club hyper moderne, ses synthés grandiloquents à la Sinjin Hawke ou âge d’or de Marble (qui font aussi penser au très bon Sunareht dont l’album vient de sortir), les trois minutes du morceau résolument booty sont intenses à souhaits.
