Between a mysterious sonic odyssey and an immersive tale of rebirth, the enigmatic Mistakes will release his debut album on TV Showw
The excellent Parisian entity TV Showw – label, DJ, and party (Réalité Showw) – will soon add a new number to its qualitative catalog of releases. After releases by Wanton Witch, Primula, or even De Grandi, it will be the mysterious Mistakes who will publish their first album entitled Embryo ❤️.
Composed of 10 titles, Embryo ❤️ presents itself as an immersive story whose common thread oscillates between rebirth, childhood innocence, and the joy of playful experimentation. Conceived as an introspective film, the release takes listeners on an enigmatic, dreamlike, and ethereal sound adventure. With an underlying club tension that almost never fully explodes, the album’s 10 tracks plunge us into a marvelous and marvelously experimental universe. Each track could well be the level of a video game, or rather, the soundtrack of it, punctuated by a structure full of twists, anything but conventional.
After “Papillon” was unveiled a few weeks ago, the second single from the album that we are revealing in this article is released today. Entitled “Semblant”, the piece alternates between progressive sound layers and jubilant filtered percussive passages. Unstoppable.
Pre-order Embryo ❤️ by Mistakes on Bandcamp. Released September 1 via TV Showw.
