Producer, DJ and harpist Bernadette delivers an infectious club track for the forthcoming compilation by Parisian collective Craquages
After a first volume at the beginning of the year, the Craquages collective turns up the heat with its second Craquages Vol. 2 compilation, presenting the very best in national break, bass and club music. On this new release, the Paris-based collective brings together a promising cast of new names and profiles already prominent on the current scene: Konalgad, Bernadette, Machka, Shonen Bat, MAYFLO, D3MOR, BisouBisou, Youthman, ergen101, FAIRIEZ and fa:act.
Ahead of the release, the collective and label entrusted us with the broadcast of the track “Gpad’ID” by producer Bernadette, which you can listen to in our columns today. Known for her no-holds-barred DJ sets mixing break, house, electro and rave, Bernadette’s talents as a producer are not to be outdone, with notable remixes for Romane Santarelli (Balgan Music) and Sabrina Bellaouel (InFiné, on the same EP as the Karen Nyame KG remix we recently unveiled). Hyper catchy, unpredictable and perfectly produced, her track for Craquages Vol. 2 embodies Bernadette’s free and creative spirit.
A producer and DJ, Bernadette is also a harpist and founder of the Move UR Gambettes collective, which works on gender issues, particularly the under-representation of women, trans and non-binary people in the electronic music scene.
Mastering by Qant.
