Living between Paris and Milan, Mahgdalene (she/they) is a DJ, performer, singer, and songwriter.
Releasing original music and performing with various aliases since 2015 (Banshii, Ma Gda, Gaia Barella), she is resident DJ for french webradio and label Egregore and Tempio del Futuro Perduto (Milan). She is also the founder of Unit Soeurs collective, which organizes events and promotes women DJs in Lyon.
Maghdalene’s approach to djing is inscribed in urban and post-club culture, mixing a variety of dance genres. Her main influences are hip-hop, bass music, house, Latin, and hardcore. Her sets are built like narrative performances, resolutely hybrid and offering a climax of energy.
