Fuel for the Club: Entrañas & Lukrø Drop a storming EP on Matraca
The Latin American electronic scene continues to impress with bold and innovative productions. Ecuadorian talent Entrañas teams up with Lukrø, co-founder and director of Matraca, to release Carburador — a brand-new EP built to shake dancefloors across the globe.
The word Carburador (Spanish for carburettor) immediately evokes raw mechanics and the fusion of elements — a perfect metaphor for this project. True to its name, this EP skillfully blends frenetic breaks, powerful basslines, samples of Brazilian funk vocals, and precise sound design.
Recorded between Quito (Ecuador) and Mexico City (CDMX), Carburador embodies the collaborative spirit of today’s Latin American electronic music. This cross-border connection reflects the vibrancy of the Global South’s underground scene — one that is confidently making its way onto the world stage.
Comprising three high-impact tracks, the EP is crafted for clubs, international festivals, and the deepest corners of the rave underground. Each track delivers a rush of adrenaline, packed with sharp percussion, immersive textures, and deep, rolling bass.
As a preview ahead of the official release, check out the single “Gostosa” featured in this article. With its fusion of funk vocals, breaks, and bassline-driven grooves, it’s an explosive track made to be experienced on a powerful sound system.
Pre-order Carburador by Entrañas and Lukrø on Bandcamp, out on 18 April on Matraca.
