A fierce new collection of rave jewels is about to land on the Eastern-French imprint Besançon Rythmique Club, with a welcomed sense of cartoon-like euphoria and boundless club energy
Like many emerging club music labels that have been born during the past five years or so, Besançon Rhythmique Club is always coming up with a desire to push the boundaries of a plural and exigent sound palette which will offer them a long-term seat at the table of on-the-radar electronic communities. But according to the imprint operated by producer and DJ Ghetto25, each release is moving a step forward for what seems like an endless rise where standout artists always share the space with up-to-come talents solicited worldwide. Take for example their last VA compilation entitled Simurgh, a fifteen-tracker on which cohabited the champion nu school DnB / breakbeat producer & hardcore drummer of the US band Jesus Piece, man-like LU2K, and Marseille-based specialist of all things dembow to dancehall heatwave riddims Baja Frequencia, among a lot of beat thirsty producers. BRC is thus the perfect room to combine all types of club heaters, regardless of aesthetic stoicisms of any kind, but without spoiling any musical history nonetheless.
The upcoming label work to be released next February 13th called PASSSION is not different in the making while being molded in a little shorter in terms of duration, making its urge to dance even more consistent. Here you will find some speed dembow signature banger from French drum ninja and Amor Satyr’s musical soulmate Siu Mata, a shorty Jersey Club edit from Lyon’s own electro fighter Hyas or another tribal house piece of jewelry by Brazilian veteran JOÃO LÁGRIMA DE OURO.
